Kids Can’t Wait to Return to Noosa Village River Resort.

June 29th, 2010

Arriving from a New York winter, this was like paradise. (Our 5 and 4-year olds keep begging to return!) The staff could not have been friendlier nor more efficient. Our three-bedroom duplex was clean, bright and the kitchen well equipped to cook in. Our girls loved the rainforest around the pool, and the location was ideal — the playground is across the road, the river is perfect for paddling, and the shops are right there. And although it was only a short drive to the main Noosa beach, it was nice to escape the Hastings St crush. It was far cheaper than Hastings St, and far better for a family.

Noosa Accommodation Review – Noosa Village River Resort

June 24th, 2010

We have stayed in Noosa for many years and have always opted for the likes of Hastings Street or at least somewhere close to it anyway.
This year however was a totally different situation as upon our arrival, the resort we had booked into had no record of our booking even though we had paid a deposit!!
Whilst at the time we were absolutely fuming to say the least. Anyway to cut a long story short the receptionist rang around and was able to get us into accommodation at the Noosavillage River Resort located at Noosaville which as it turns out was the best thing that could ever have happened.

From this day forward we will ALWAYS go back and stay at Noosavillage River Resort.
For those of you that want to enjoy a holiday in a peaceful quiet location with magnificent gardens take my advice and at least give it consideration. The resorts managers live on site and and went out of their way to make sure our holiday was something very special. I think from memory there are 26 units in the resort and at the time we were there thay had no vacancy the day after we arrived but you would never have known it was full. The grounds are very spacious and the units are well set out and not on top of each other.

Our children had a ball in the pool and there is also a splash pool, Sauna and heated spa as well. The BBQ facilities were spotlessly clean as were the toilets and the units themselves.
The resort is just so safe and handy to everything you could possibly want for a magic holiday. We have a 4 and 7 year old and they haven’t stopped talking about it since we arrived home. Across the road and on the river there is a fantastic pirate park for the kids and we spent a number of nights on the rivers edge with a wine watching the sunset as our children played and made friends with other children staying in the same resort.

We have paid over 2000.000 in the past to stay in Hastings street for 1 week and we were able to enjoy our full two weeks at Noosavillage River Resort for less than that and to be honest, it was a holiday we will never forget!
We have already booked for Feb 2011 and paid a deposit on the same unit for 2012 so if that doesn’t convince you, nothing will!
Have a look at their website which is www.noosavillageriverresort.com just as a little teaser but be assured that what you see is what you get!!
Cheers, Marita

Thumbs Up for Noosa Village River Resort Noosa

June 4th, 2010

We (4 adults) stayed here late October and were very impressed with the space and facilities our unit provided; 2 balconies, court yard, washer and dryer, dishwasher. Great value for money. Nice size (heated) pool, tennis court, spa, sauna. Right accoss the road from the Noosa river with lots of restaurants and shops a short stroll up the road. There is also a Woolworths and Dan Murphys near by too!‎
