Situated
on the beautiful Noosa River on Gympie Terrace. The Noosavillage
River resort is central to an amazing number of holiday and
social activities. Approximately 1.5 hours from Brisbane
and 35 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.

How far is the resort from Noosa and Hastings Street?
The
Sunshine Coast’s most famous attractions, Hastings
Street and Main Beach, are only a five - seven minute car ride
from Noosa Village River Resort. Alternatively, why not
catch the frequent local bus from your doorstep! (free service at peak holiday
times) or hop on the ferry at the Yacht Club or the Big Pelican
which will drop you at the rear of Hastings Street.
What can we do on our holiday?
There
are lots of activities and tours you can do when you stay at
Noosa Village River Resort, and all are able to be booked at
reception for your convenience at no extra charge. We can arrange
that special trip to Fraser Island, or the Noosa River Everglades
tour. There are numerous water activities including jet skis,
water-skiing, off-shore fishing or you can learn to surf, kayak
or kite surf. Take a trip into the hinterland and visit the Blackall
Ranges or Glasshouse Mountains. Spend time in Montville, Malany
or visit the Australia Zoo, the Ettamogah Pub or Aussie
World. Visit the Famous Eumundi Market or closer to Noosaville
you can play golf at numerous excellent courses, take a camel
ride or simply go shopping on Noosa's Hasting Street. Don’t
forget the resort’s facilities and relax by the pool.
How far to Australia Zoo from
Noosa Village River Resort?
Australia Zoo – home of Steve
Irwin ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ – is about 1 hour
drive from Noosa Village River Resort but
you can board the Australia Zoo courtesy coach at the Transit
Centre in Noosa.

What do we need to bring?
All apartments are fully self-contained with linen provided.
A small quantity of tea, coffee, soap etc is provided for your
initial night only. Bring beach towels, or alternatively obtain
them from reception for a small charge.
Are there any golf courses
in the area?
Yes we have many professional courses in the region, including:
Noosa/Tewantin Golf Club, Noosa Par 3 Golf Club, Noosa Springs
Golf Club, Noosa Valley Country Club, the Organic Kabi Golf Farm,
Novotel Twin Waters Resort Golf Club, Mount Coolum Golf Club,
The Hyatt Regency Golf Club, (the Home of the Coolum Classic).
Is there public transport nearby?
Yes. The local SunBus Service stops conveniently right outside
the resort in both directions, and services the entire Sunshine Coast. There
are of course taxis, and the Noosa River Ferry for a trip up and down the river
on an ‘all day pass’. Get on and off the ferry as many times as
you like during the day. |
